Point scoring for this year's competition begins on fixtures played the weekend 16th/17th/18th April, giving you nearly two weeks to select your side (with unlimited transfers up to this point).

We still have a few names to add to teams, so don't worry if your not on there or if you're in a different team, complete player lists should be sorted by the weekend.

A few changes for the 2010 season:

- Players will only receive 1 profile this season : Last year if you regularly turned out for two sides, then two profiles were set up for you, one for each team. This season individual players will only have one profile, so if they play for two sides, points from both weekend games will be entered under the one profile.

- Registration has been increased to $20 per team: This is to ensure the prize pool remains attractive for participants and the club receives a reasonable revenue for hosting the competition. 50% of registration fees collected will go directly to the club (after all, it is a fundraising exercise!) and the other 50% of monies collected will be distributed as prizes in the following manner:

*April/May Manager of the Month: 5% of total revenue

*June Manager of the Month: 5% of total revenue

*July Manager of the Month: 5% of total revenue

*August Manager of the Month: 5% of total revenue

Manager of the Season:

1st Place = 15% of total revenue
2nd Place = 10% of total revenue
3rd Place = 5% of total revenue
(+ Trophy for winner)

- Teams represented will only be those playing regular Fri-Sun senior hockey: In order to smoothly manage the comp, we will not be including midweek veterans sides in this seasons competition.

- I won't be participating in the competition this season - just to give y'all a bit more of a chance to take out the Super Coach title.

Point scoring and rules for 2010 have been slightly tweaked on last years format, details as follows:

A Fantasy Team:

- must consist of 11 players in a
1-4-4-2 formation (1 Goalkeeper (GLK), 4 Defenders (DEF), 4 Midfielders (MID) and 2 Forwards (FWD))

- can make unlimited transfers up to the date before the first fixture.

- must transfer a player the day before the match for that player to score any points in that match.

How do I score points?

A Goalkeeper will score:

5 points for every goal.
8 points for every clean sheet.
-1 points for every goal conceded.

A Defender will score:

5 points for every goal.
4 points for every clean sheet.
-1 points for every goal conceded.

A Midfielder will score:

4 points for every goal.
-1 points for every clean sheet.

A Striker will score:

3 points for every goal.

All Players will score:

2 points for every appearance.
5 points for every win.
2 points for every draw.
-2 points for every loss.
5 points for every hatrick.
