SW Junior Carnival June Long Weekend (“Bunno”) - June 1st to 3rd 2024

The Bunbury Junior Carnival is on again this year. It’s a fun filled weekend of hockey, hanging out with friends, socialising - for many juniors and their parents it is the highlight of the season!
Fremantle Cockburn Hockey Club has a long history of sending junior teams to the carnival and we are looking to do the same this year.
If you are playing J5/6s, J7/8s or J9/10s and you would like to experience the fun please register your interest now!
Games start early Saturday morning and finish by lunchtime on Monday. All teams must be available to play on the Monday morning.
Over the weekend we will be organising a team dinner on the Saturday night at the Lighthouse Hotel. This is a super fun dinner for both kids and parents – kids generally perform skits and it’s a great way to unwind after a long day of playing / watching hockey.
We will also contact the swimming club to see if we can use their facilities for accommodating anyone who needs somewhere to stay that’s cheap and basic.
The carnival organisers are working on sourcing more food vans to include healthier
options as well as additional coffee vans.

We also need kids to register their interest if they are keen to umpire, even if they are too old to play!

Nominations for the carnival close on May 3rd so everyone who is interested needs to be registered before then so we can work out teams.
